Robert Half are partnering with a Wealth and Asset Manager to recruit a Management Accountant. The successful candidate will thrive in fast-paced, high-pressure environments, bringing structure and assurance during a key period of growth and organisational change. Based in the City, 3 days in the office. This is a highly visible role within the finance function, working closely with senior leadership and key external stakeholders. What We're Looking For * Comfortable operating in a start-up style, PE-backed environment where priorities can shift quickly * Group accounting experience, ideally within a PE-backed structure * Experience with multi-entity consolidations * Confident engaging with senior stakeholders * Advanced Excel skills (SUMIFS, COUNTIFS, XLOOKUP, INDEX/MATCH) * ACCA/CIMA/ACA newly qualified: 1-2 years PQE, with some industry experience preferred What You Will Do * Own and present monthly management accounts, delivering clear variance and performance analysis to the C-suite * Support M&A activity, including review of forecasts, cash flow and covenant impacts * Lead budgeting and reforecasting processes, including zero-based budget rebuilds with department heads * Manage payroll consolidation, journals and associated controls * Prepare and coordinate external reporting requirements * Lead the external audit, managing timelines, deliverables and technical queries * Strengthen financial controls, accuracy and efficiency, while mentoring junior team members Robert Half Ltd acts as an employment business for temporary positions and an employment agency for permanent positions.
