SEN Teaching Assistant Are you a compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant with a passion for supporting pupils with additional needs? The RoleIn this role, you will provide vital support to pupils with a range of needs, including Autism (ASD), ADHD, SEMH, and Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD). Your responsibilities will include:Delivering tailored 1:1 interventions and small group support.Adapting learning materials to ensure the curriculum is accessible for all pupils.Using specialized communication tools such as Makaton or PECS where required.Supporting pupils with sensory processing needs and managing challenging behaviour with a calm, patient approach. What We're Looking ForExperience: Proven experience supporting children with SEND (Special Educational Needs and Disabilities).Compliance: An enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one).Skills: Strong emotional intelligence, resilience, and the ability to build rapport quickly with vulnerable learners.
