This is a fantastic opportunity for a committed educator who understands the importance of early learning and can support pupils as they transition from EYFS into Key Stage 1.As a Year 1 Teacher, you will play a vital role in delivering engaging lessons, developing core literacy and numeracy skills, and creating a positive classroom environment where every child feels supported and confident.Role Responsibilities of Year 1 Teacher: Plan and deliver creative, structured, and age-appropriate lessons aligned with the KS1 curriculum.Support pupils’ academic, social, and emotional development during this key stage.Encourage curiosity, independence, and positive learning behaviours.Assess, monitor, and record pupil progress, providing constructive feedback.Build strong relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues to support learning outcomes.Create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment. What You’ll Bring as a Year 1 Teacher: UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).Experience teaching in EYFS or Key Stage 1 is desirable.Strong classroom management and lesson planning skills.A nurturing, patient, and engaging teaching approach.Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.An enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
