RequirementsMission:Sidetrade is launching a brand-new, high-impact engineering initiative to deploy internal autonomous agents across the organisation. These agents will automate high-volume workflows and fundamentally change how teams operate across every business function, including Customer Success, Finance, Product, Professional Services, Marketing, Communications, Sales, and Operations.As AI Engineering Lead, you own this initiative end to end. You are accountable for defining the vision, shaping the roadmap, and driving delivery across multiple agentic initiatives in parallel. You will prioritise use cases based on business impact, align senior stakeholders across functions, and ensure agents are delivered, adopted, and producing measurable results.You act as the single point of ownership between business leaders, AI Engineers, and executive sponsors. This is a foundational role where you establish how internal AI products are framed, governed, delivered, and scaled, turning emerging AI capabilities into repeatable operational leverage.This is a rare greenfield opportunity to lead a company-wide applied AI program with direct impact on productivity, execution speed, and decision quality. You will combine product leadership, program execution, and technical fluency to shape how Sidetrade operationalises AI in a fast-paced B2B SaaS environment, with systems that teams rely on every day and leadership can clearly measure.What you'll be doing:Own the internal autonomous agents programOwn the roadmap, scope, and delivery of all internal agent initiatives across department.Structure the program into clear projects with timelines, milestones, dependencies, and success metricsEnsure consistent delivery standards across multiple agent use casePartner with business leaders to define high-impact use casesWork closely with department heads and business owners to identify automation opportunitiesTranslate business needs into clear problem statements, priorities, and success criteriaEnsure use cases are realistic, valuable, and aligned with company objectives Lead delivery with AI EngineersManage and coordinate a team of AI Engineers building internal agentsDefine priorities, sequence work, and unblock executionAct as the interface between technical teams and non-technical stakeholders Ensure adoption and measurable impactDefine KPIs and ROI expectations for each agent initiativeTrack delivery progress, adoption, and operational impactDrive change management to ensure agents are actually used by teams Coordinate cross-functionallyAlign with Engineering, IT, Security, Data, and Ops where neededAnticipate risks related to data access, tooling, dependencies, or timelinesEnsure smooth communication and decision-making across teams Establish standards and governance Define how agent projects are documented, prioritised, reviewed, and validatedBring structure and clarity to a fast-moving, innovative environmentHelp leadership maintain visibility on progress, risks, and outcomes What You'll Need to be Successful:Core Skills (Must-Have) Proven experience in program management, product ownership, or PMO roles delivering complex technical initiativesStrong background working with engineering teams on AI, data, or software productsExperience delivering projects in a B2B SaaS, tech, or AI-driven environmenAbility to manage multiple parallel initiatives with different stakeholders and prioritiesStrong execution mindset: planning, prioritisation, delivery tracking, and risk managementComfort working with technical concepts (AI, automation, APIs, systems) without needing to codeExcellent communication skills with both technical and business audiencesNice to HaveExperience managing AI, automation, or data-driven initiativesBackground in internal tools, productivity platforms, or operational transformationExposure to agentic AI, workflow automation, or applied AI projectsExperience working in fast-paced, scaling organisationsFamiliarity with Agile, hybrid delivery models, or product-led deliveryAt Sidetrade, we cultivate a multicultural environment that fuels innovation.
