Senior Quantity Surveyor Locations: Central or West London Salary: £55,000 - £72,000 + car / travel allowance + comprehensive package Site Attendance: Minimum 3 days per week on siteI am working on behalf of a leading UK main contractor delivering a flagship infrastructure programme in London. Due to a planned increase in workload and progression within the team, they are now looking to appoint a Senior Quantity Surveyor with strong NEC and major civils experience.This is a genuine opportunity to be part of one of the most significant infrastructure projects in Europe, offering long-term security, complex engineering challenges, and clear career progression within a well-structured commercial team.The Role As Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will take full commercial responsibility for a number of civil engineering packages, working closely with Package Managers, Project Managers and the wider commercial leadership team. The role is hands-on and delivery-focused.Key responsibilities include: Commercial management of multiple civils packages from procurement through to final account Administration and management of NEC contracts (primarily NEC3/NEC4) Cost control, forecasting, CVRs, and reporting in line with project and business requirements Managing subcontractor procurement, payments, change control and final accounts Supporting and mentoring junior commercial staff where required Working collaboratively with planning, engineering and delivery teams on site About You To be considered, candidates should demonstrate: Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor or Senior Quantity Surveyor on major civil engineering or infrastructure projects Strong working knowledge of NEC contracts (essential) Experience managing subcontract packages on large, complex schemes Background with a main contractor environment Confident stakeholder management and commercial acumen Willingness to be site-based a minimum of three days per week What's on Offer Starting salary of Salary of £55,000 - £72,000 depending on experience Car allowance or travel package 25 days annual leave + bank holidays Private pension contributions Private healthcare Long-term work on a high-profile, nationally significant project Clear progression opportunities within a major contractor's infrastructure business If you're a Senior Quantity Surveyor looking to step into a high-value, career-defining project and want to discuss this role in confidence, please apply or contact me directly for a discreet conversation.
