Nursery Teacher - 12-Month Maternity Cover Location: FY3 Contract: Full-time, Fixed Term (12 Months) Pay: Teacher Pay Scale (MPS/UPS - Paid to Scale) A welcoming primary school in the FY3 area is seeking an enthusiastic and nurturing Nursery Teacher to join their EYFS team on a 12-month maternity cover. This role sits at the heart of the Early Years provision, working closely with experienced EYFS practitioners to deliver high-quality, play-based learning that supports every child's early development. About the Role Lead the Nursery class within the EYFS setting, creating a warm, stimulating and inclusive environment. Plan, deliver and assess engaging learning experiences in line with the EYFS framework. Build positive relationships with children, parents and the wider EYFS team. Support children's early language, social, emotional and physical development. Work collaboratively with EYFS colleagues to maintain consistent routines and high-quality practice across the unit. What We're Looking For Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent. Experience within Nursery or wider EYFS settings. Strong knowledge of child development and the EYFS curriculum.
