Year 4 Class Teacher - Primary School Location: Skelmersdale Start Date: January 2026 Contract Type: Full-Time, Fixed-Term (Until Summer 2026) Pay: £140 - £250 per day (dependent on experience) Spencer Clarke Group are working with a warm and welcoming primary school in Skelmersdale who are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Year 4 Teacher to join their team from January 2026 until the end of the academic year. This is a fantastic opportunity to shape pupils' academic and personal development during a key phase of KS2. The school are seeking a teacher who can engage learners, raise achievement, and bring creativity and structure to the classroom environment. Key Responsibilities: Plan, prepare and deliver high-quality lessons in line with the Year 4 curriculum. Differentiate teaching to meet the needs of mixed-ability learners, including SEND. Assess, track and report on pupil achievement and progress. Create a positive, inclusive and inspiring classroom atmosphere. Work collaboratively with teaching assistants and colleagues across KS2. Participate in staff meetings, parent consultations and whole-school activities. Requirements: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential. Experience teaching within Key Stage 2, ideally Year 4.
