Staff work collaboratively to maintain a positive and engaging learning atmosphere.About the Role:As a Cover Supervisor, you will be responsible for supervising classes, following lesson plans, and ensuring students remain on task. This is an excellent opportunity to gain classroom experience and support teaching staff in a variety of subjects.Responsibilities: Supervise classes in the absence of the teacher Follow lesson plans and maintain classroom engagement Support students’ behaviour and wellbeing Provide feedback to teaching staff on student progress and behaviour Adapt quickly to different subjects and year groups Qualifications: Experience working in schools or with children is desirable but not essential Strong communication, organisation, and classroom management skills Reliable, adaptable, and professional approach An up-to-date CV and enhanced DBS registered to the update service (or willingness to apply) This is a rewarding role for anyone looking to make a positive impact in schools across Sheffield.
