Position: Teacher of Computer Science Location: Tower Hamlets Start date: January 2026 Contract: Full Time Salary: £40,317 - £62,496 per annum Smart Teachers is working with a forward-thinking and inclusive secondary school to recruit a passionate and dedicated Computing Teacher. This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic practitioner to join a supportive department and make a real impact on students’ digital skills and future pathwaysThe Role: The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging and high-quality Computing lessons across KS3 and KS4, with opportunities to teach KS5 for suitably experienced teachers. You will be joining a collaborative team that values innovation, creativity, and high standards of teaching and learning.Key responsibilities include: Planning and delivering inspiring Computing lessons that meet curriculum requirements Teaching Computer Science, Digital Literacy, and ICT-related topics Monitoring and assessing student progress effectively Contributing to curriculum development and departmental improvement Creating a positive, inclusive, and well-managed classroom environment The School: This is a well-regarded secondary school with a strong sense of community and high expectations for both staff and students.
