We are currently recruiting for a Junior Maintenance Technician to join a leading manufacturer of industrial paints based in Redditch. This entry-level role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with engines, machinery, or mechanical projects in their spare time. Duties will include: · Assist in routine maintenance tasks including basic repairs, inspections, and equipment checks. · Support senior technicians with diagnosing and troubleshooting mechanical or structural issues. · Respond to maintenance requests and help maintain equipment in safe operating conditions. · Document maintenance activities, equipment issues, and parts used. · Maintain tools, workshop areas, and storage spaces in an organised manner. · Learn to use and care for various hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment. Core Competencies: · Basic understanding of mechanical, electrical, or building systems. · Knowledge of general maintenance · Working knowledge of tools · Problem solving skills · Manual Dexterity and physical strength to handle tools, carry out repairs and installations. · Good IT skills and able to use maintenance related software such as CMMS.
