Job Title: Teacher of Religious Education Location: Corby, Northamptonshire Agency: Tradewind Recruitment Contract: Full-time Salary: Paid to scale (MPS/UPS), dependent on experience Start Date: ASAP / Next Term The Role Tradewind Recruitment is currently seeking a qualified and passionate Teacher of Religious Education to work full-time at a secondary school in the Corby area. This is an excellent opportunity for a committed RE specialist to deliver high-quality, engaging lessons and make a meaningful impact on students' academic and personal development. Key Responsibilities: Teach Religious Education across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 desirable but not essential) Plan and deliver engaging lessons that promote critical thinking, reflection, and respectful discussion Assess, monitor, and report on student progress in line with school policies Maintain high standards of behaviour and classroom management Contribute positively to the wider Humanities / RE department Support the school's ethos and commitment to inclusion and safeguarding Requirements: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) - essential Experience teaching Religious Education in UK secondary schools Strong subject knowledge and enthusiasm for RE Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills Ability to inspire and engage learners of all abilities Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one) Why Work with Tradewind Recruitment?
