Management Accountant - £40000 - £45000 per annum – Belfast Your new companyYou will be joining a well‑established organisation based in Dunmurry, where you will play a key role within the Northern Ireland finance function. This is an opportunity to work in a complex, fast‑paced environment with strong interaction across local and group finance teams.Your new roleReporting to the Northern Ireland Financial Controller, you will be responsible for the full management accounting cycle, including monthly, quarterly, and annual accounts preparation under IFRS.Your responsibilities will include detailed variance analysis and commentary, gross margin analysis, weekly forecasting, annual budgeting, and managing local projects or new initiatives.You will support the implementation of a new finance system, streamline existing group processes, and prepare annual statutory accounts.Additionally, you will provide financial analysis to the Managing Director, complete intercompany and tax reconciliations, maintain the fixed asset register, and ensure accurate reconciliation of AP and AR to the general ledger.You will also act as a key liaison for group reporting teams and internal/external auditors.What you'll need to succeedIdeally a fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent), though applicants with substantial accounting experience will also be consideredStrong technical accounting knowledge, particularly IFRS experience an advantageExcellent analytical skills and ability to present financial information clearlyProficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPointAbility to adapt quickly to new systems and technologiesStrong communication skills, both written and verbalAbility to manage tight deadlines and work both independently and as part of a teamWhat you'll get in returnOpportunity to work closely with senior finance leadershipExposure to both local and group-level financial operationsInvolvement in systems implementation and process improvementA role with breadth, responsibility, and long‑term development potentialCompetitive salary and benefits packageWhat you need to do nowIf you're interested in this role, click 'apply now' to forward an up‑to‑date copy of your CV, or call us now.If this job isn't quite right for you but you are looking for a new position, please contact us for a confidential discussion on your career. # 4078960
