A permanent Finance Manager job paying up to £55k for a growing retail business based in Worcester. Job Type:PermanentSalary:£45,000-£55,000 per annumLocation:WorcesterYour new company Hays Senior Finance are partnering with a fast-paced and dynamic business in the Worcester area as they look to recruit an experienced Finance Manager on a permanent basis. Established over 20 years ago, this rapidly growing online retail business are going from strength-to-strength and are now seen as a leading label for the youth market.Your new role Reporting into the Finance Director and working alongside the RoW Finance Manager, you will oversee the financial operations for the UK and EU regions of the business.Main duties:Preparation and consolidation of monthly management accountsReview of individual company management accountsAssist the FD with monthly and annual financial reporting requirementsReview of monthly balance sheet reconciliations and P&L analysisSupervision of VAT and overseas sales tax returnsFull involvement in the improvement of internal processes and efficienciesManagement of a small finance teamWhat you'll need to succeed Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) or QBEDemonstrable experience of providing hands-on, day-to-day financial management and supportPossess a 'sleeves rolled up' approach with the ability to get stuck inHigh attention to detail and able to co-ordinate substantial amounts of informationExcellent communication skills with the confidence to build and maintain effective relationships with non-finance stakeholdersExperience of managing and developing finance teamsStrong Excel/spreadsheet skills and good working knowledge of accounting software (Oracle NetSuite highly advantageous)What you'll get in return In return, you will receive a competitive salary of up to £55,000 per annum (depending on experience and qualification) and be given the opportunity to play a pivotal part in the next phase of this organisation's growth journey.
