Trainee Cover Supervisors Are you interested in a career towards education? Wanting to gain in classroom experience working as a Cover Supervisor and get a feel for teaching!? Consider joining us at Tradewind Recruitment as a Future Cover Supervisor for secondary schools in Nailsea, starting from January 2026 on short- or long-term placements. Tradewind provide a free Cover Supervisor course + 2,500 CPD courses, ensuring you are upskilled and constantly improving your abilities. Your role involves: Create and maintain a positive learning environment Engaging with students and facilitating productive class sessions. Controlling the classrooms behaviour in line with the school's behaviour policy Presenting a lesson with the resources provided We offer competitive pay ranging from £120-£130 per day PAYE, Monday to Friday, with flexible days to accommodate your availability. Whether you can commit to a full week or just a few days, we'll work with your schedule. Requirements: Experience working with young people aged 11-16 (preferred) A Levels in relevant subjects Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable), and professional references Legal right to work in the UK No prior teaching experience is necessary, but enthusiasm, communication skills, and a minimum of A Levels (preferably in English, Maths, Science, Business, Drama, Psychology, Humanities, or Sports) are desired.
