Cover SupervisorLocation: Ashington, Northumberland Salary: £75 - £100 per day Contract: Full Time, TemporaryGSL Education are currently recruiting Cover Supervisors for secondary schools in Ashington. The role involves managing classrooms and ensuring that pre-set work is completed without the teacher.Job Summary of a Cover Supervisor: Supervise classes and ensure students remain on task with the work they have been set.Manage classroom behavior and uphold school rules.Respond to any questions from students about process and procedures. Responsibilities of a Cover Supervisor: Ensure that the classroom resources are utilized effectively.Maintain a calm and focused classroom environment.Report back as appropriate using the school's agreed referral procedures on the behavior of pupils during the class, and any issues arising. Qualifications to be a Cover Supervisor: Experience in an educational setting preferred.Strong classroom management skills.Flexible and adaptable approach to work.
