Job Title: Computer Science (CS) Teacher Location: Sheffield (S11) Pay rate: Upto £220 per day (Depending on experience) Start Date: January 2026 Contract Type: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-timeDo you have the expertise to teach digital skills and guide learners in understanding how technology shapes today’s world?GSL Education are recruiting a Computer Science (CS) Teacher to work within schools in Sheffield, located in the S11 area, delivering engaging lessons that develop problem‑solving skills and digital understanding.As a Computer Science Teacher, you will teach programming, algorithms, and digital systems through structured, practical lessons that build logical thinking and spark curiosity about technology.Main Responsibilities: Deliver clear and well-planned computing lessons suited to different ability levels.Support pupils in developing coding, computational thinking, and problem-solving skills.Provide constructive feedback to help learners improve and progress.Maintain a focused, well-managed classroom environment.Monitor progress and keep accurate assessment records. Requirements: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or a recognised teaching qualification.Strong subject knowledge and confidence working as a Computer Science Teacher.Effective communication and organisational skills.A clear understanding of safeguarding and school expectations.An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
