Teaching Personnel are currently working with a Secondary School based in Stoke-on-Trent (ST5) who are looking for a Humanities Teacher to start in January. The ideal candidate will have experience teaching both History and Geography at KS3 level and specialise in either subject for GCSE.About the role: Start-date: 5th JanuaryOngoing until the end of the academic yearPaid to scale As a Humanities Teacher, you will plan and deliver lessons across KS3 and GCSE level. You will ensure students have a well-rounded learning experience with both History and Geography, allowing them to make the right decision when selecting their GCSE options. You will assess pupils both formally and informally, providing live and written feedback when necessary. Additionally, you will contribute to the Humanities department ensuring the curriculum remains up to date, supporting with additional revision sessions for GCSE students and extra-curricular clubs/trips.What we’re looking for: QTS with strong background in History/GeographyExperience teaching Humanities across KS3 and specialist subject at GCSE levelA passion for the subject and ability to create a positive learning environmentOrganised and adaptableExcellent communication and interpersonal skills If you’re interested in this opportunity, please apply with your CV and a consultant will be in contact within 2 working days.
