Here at TP Tutors, we have an immediate start for 1-1 tuition roles in the Wellingborough area. 3 pupils are in need of 30 hours of face-to-face tuition in their home. Each case would be for 10 hours per week, split across Mon-Fri. Please note hours can be flexible.The pupils have SEN needs and would need academic support with the aim to progress educationally despite being outside of education.The ideal candidate for this 1-1 Tutor role would have: Tutor experienced working students with SEMH challengesAble to implement baseline assessments to assess where the student is currently working atConfident to work professionally with residential staff, Social Workers and other Local Authority professionalsAble to deliver engaging, innovative lessons to help keep students engaged in their educationAble to offer emotional support to vulnerable children where required, acting as a positive role modelCommitted to the education of this vulnerable young person. Benefits of working with Teaching Personnel: Referrals to support primary, secondary and post 16 aged students with subject specific areas. Children may be in a mainstream setting, special educational needs or alternate provision setting or without a school place and fall under the local authority awaiting a suitable school place.Online classroom platform- to enable you to deliver online tuition to students in a virtual environment. This platform offers all the tools you will require to deliver online tuition and is recorded for safeguarding purposes and for revision purposes.Hourly rate of £25- £30 which is paid weekly.Access to free safeguarding and CPD courses as well as free access to assessment tools and resources. All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position.
