We’re looking for an experienced SEMH English Teacher to join a welcoming secondary school in Trafford, ensuring every child has the opportunity to thrive in a positive learning environment.What we’re looking for: Enhanced DBS on the Update Service – essential.QTS Qualified – essentialPrevious experience working in a school setting, ideally with SEMH exposure.A confident, proactive approach to managing classrooms and engaging learners.Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with students and staff. Your responsibilities will include: Planning and delivering engaging lessons to students with varying needs and abilitiesSupporting pupils with SEMH needs to access the curriculum effectively.Managing classroom behaviour in line with school policies.Fostering a safe, supportive and encouraging learning environmentProviding feedback to teaching staff on pupil progress and engagement.Collaborate with staff team, parents and external multi agencies to ensure that children’s welfare and wellbeing is met.
