Teaching Personnel are working with a specialist SEN Primary school based in Stoke-on-Trent who are currently looking for a dedicated and compassionate full-time Teaching Assistant to join their team from the 5th January.This is a specialist secondary school for students with a range of complex learning needs, including ASD, ADHD and social and emotional mental health challenges.About the role: Working closely with teaching staff to deliver tailored support to individual students and small groups.Assist students in accessing the curriculum and developing their independence, confidence, and social skills.Support pupils with personal care needs, where required.Help maintain a positive, safe, and stimulating learning environment.Build strong relationships with students, staff, and families. What we’re looking for: Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant Qualification is desirablePatient, resilient, and enthusiastic about making a positive impact.Has experience working with young people with SEN (in any environment).Can communicate effectively and work well as part of a team.Must complete safeguarding upon registering with Teaching Personnel Why choose Teaching Personnel?
