An Alternative Education Provision School in Wareham is seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team. The Role:You will be responsible for supporting classroom teachers in providing the best support possible to students ranging in the ages 8-18 years old, with various SEN and behavioural difficulties such as: Complex and persistent SEMH (Social, Emotional and Mental Health) needsAutism Spectrum ConditionSpeech, language and communication needsAnxiety, depression, and other mental health challengesPupils may also be awaiting CAMHS assessment/treatment Many have struggled to engage with mainstream education due to social, emotional, or sensory challenges.
