We are delighted to be working in partnership with a vibrant, inclusive and nurturing nursery school to recruit an experienced and passionate Nursery Teacher and SENCo. This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated professional to lead high-quality early years provision while championing inclusive practice for all children.The Role
The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering outstanding teaching and learning within the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), alongside leading and coordinating provision for children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).Key Responsibilities
Deliver high-quality teaching and learning for children aged 2–5 in line with the EYFS statutory framework
Lead inclusive practice and coordinate SEND provision across the nursery
Support staff with early identification of needs, targeted intervention and graduated SEND support
Work in close partnership with families, external professionals and the local authority
Monitor, review and evaluate the impact of SEND provision and interventions
Contribute to whole-school development, safeguarding and a positive learning culture
The Ideal Candidate Will:
Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or Level 6 Early Years Teacher Status
Have a minimum of 2 years’ experience working within an EYFS setting
Demonstrate a strong understanding of the EYFS Framework and the SEND Code of Practice
Be committed to inclusive, child-centred practice
Have the ability to lead, support and inspire colleagues
Show excellent communication and collaborative working skills

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
