Mechanical Engineer Specialist – Energy Recovery (Inside IR35)Location: Cornwall Contract: Fixed Term – 6 Months Rate: £850 per day Hours: 5-out-of-7 or 6-out-of-7 days (rostered in advance) Start: ImmediateWise Employment are looking for an experienced Mechanical Engineer Specialist to support a major Energy Recovery Facility in Cornwall. This contract role is ideal for a hands-on specialist with strong experience in industrial boilers, pressure part welding, and heavy mechanical plant environments.Key Responsibilities Mechanical support on industrial boilers and pressure systemsPressure part welding and associated lifting activitiesSupporting plant performance, safety, and complianceWorking within environmental and regulatory requirementsContributing to project delivery within a live operational facility Essential Experience Industrial boiler and pressure part welding experienceBackground in EfW, power generation, biomass, or heavy process plantsStrong understanding of health, safety, and environmental legislationProject-based mechanical experienceAbility to start immediately Desirable Degree or higher qualification in engineering or managementChartered Engineer or working towards chartership What’s on Offer £850 per day (Inside IR35)Choice of 5 or 6 days per week (rostered)6-month contract with immediate startHigh-profile, long-term infrastructure project Apply now with your CV and relevant certifications.
