Mobile Technician - Light Commercial & HGV Location: Oxfordshire & Buckinghamshire Salary: Up to £42,000 per annum DOE Hours: Monday to Friday (On-Calls and Overtime) Benefits: Fully equipped van & fuel card | Home‑based reporting | Flexible on‑call rota ISQ Recruitment is proud to be supporting a long‑established commercial fleet services provider as they look to expand their mobile technician team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Mobile Technician who enjoys independent working, varied diagnostics, and travelling to customer sites without the pressure of major roadside repairs. You'll be responsible for attending call‑outs across Oxfordshire and Buckinghamshire, carrying out basic mechanical work, inspections, and diagnostics on a range of light commercial vehicles through to HGVs. You will report from home each day, with a fully equipped company van and fuel card supplied. Key Responsibilities Carry out routine servicing, inspections, and mechanical repairs on LCVs and HGVs. Complete diagnostic work using modern equipment and manufacturer‑level tools. Attend customer sites for scheduled jobs and call‑outs (no heavy roadside repairs required). Accurately complete all service sheets, job cards, and digital reports. Maintain company equipment, tools, and van stock levels. Represent the business professionally during customer visits. Key Skills & Experience Strong background in commercial vehicle maintenance (LCV and/or HGV). Confident diagnostic and mechanical skillset. Ability to work independently and manage your own workload. Full UK Driving Licence. A proactive, customer‑focused approach.
