As a Science Technician, you will prepare, maintain, and organise practical equipment and materials for lessons, while also supporting the safe use of laboratories in line with health and safety guidelines. Qualifications, experience, and skills required include: GCSEs (or equivalent) in Science and MathematicsHealth & Safety training, COSHH awareness and CLEAPSS guidanceDegree in Science is desirableExperience working in a laboratory environmentPrevious work experience within a school settingKnowledge of safe handling, storage, and disposal of chemicals and equipmentA good understanding of child protection and safeguarding guidelinesThe school would particularly welcome applicants with a background in Physics, who can bring additional expertise in supporting Physics A Level practicals This is a vibrant and popular school and it's part of a respected Multi-Academy Trust.
