A welcoming primary school in Rainham, Gillingham is seeking a committed and enthusiastic Year 2 Teacher to join their team on a 2-day per week job share, ideally Tuesdays and Wednesdays, to cover medical leave from January through to April.This is a well-supported role with planning already in place, making it an excellent opportunity for a teacher looking for a manageable, collaborative position while still playing a meaningful part in a Key Stage 1 classroom.Year 2 Teacher responsibilities: Deliver engaging and consistent teaching to a Year 2 class across two days per weekFollow provided planning to ensure continuity and progressionSupport preparation of classroom resources where possibleWork collaboratively with the job-share partner and wider KS1 teamContribute positively to the school’s inclusive and supportive ethos Year 2 Teacher requirements: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or other UK recognised qualificationRecent experience teaching in KS1, ideally Year 2A collaborative and flexible approach to job-share workingWillingness to support with resource preparationEnhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willing to apply) Working with Three R’s Teacher Recruitment means you’ll be supported by a trusted Kent-based agency with over 20 years’ experience.
