Autism Teaching Assistant – Primary SEN (Peterlee) Location: Peterlee Pay: £90–£110 per day Contract: Full-Time, Long-TermWe’re looking for an Autism Teaching Assistant to support pupils in a structured, supportive primary environment.You’ll work with children who benefit from clear communication, predictable routines and patient support. Understanding autism and behaviour as communication is key to this role.The role involves: • 1:1 and small-group autism support • Supporting routines and transitions • Using calm, consistent communication • Supporting sensory and emotional needs • Encouraging independence and engagementAll applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role.
