Senior Electrical Design Engineer About the Role The technical team provides support across several key areas of the organisation's activities. As a senior engineer, you will deliver detailed technical support to various engineering departments and continue developing your expertise in the renewable-energy sector, with a focus on co-located solar and energy-storage projects across multiple regions. What Is Offered Strong company culture Trusted responsibilities with opportunities for personal and professional growth Career development in an international environment, including tailored training opportunities A supportive, collaborative team within a profitable and expanding global group Opportunities for international travel Hybrid working arrangements Key Responsibilities Development and Design Electrical and mechanical design and specification Management of engineering deliverables Low- and medium-voltage system design Regulatory compliance SAT and FAT compliance CAD and SCADA design Electrical protection specification Preparation of tenders and proposals Earthing system design and specification SCADA specification General Adherence to internal ISO 9001, 14001 and 45001 processes Additional duties as required Profile / Requirements Degree in Electrical Engineering; strong multi-skilled background with attention to detail Experience (ideally 5+ years) in the design and delivery of solar PV and energy-storage projects Strong numerical and analytical skills Ability to manage change and ambiguity Fluent spoken and written English Full driving licence Willingness to travel internationally Ability to prepare high-level reports Familiarity with international IEC standards is advantageous Experience with tools such as AutoCAD, PVSyst, DigSilent, Homer Experience with medium-voltage systems and protection coordination is beneficial Professional registration or progress toward it Ability to work independently while supporting team collaboration
