Position: Sales Manager – Government & DefenceAbout the Role:We are hiring a Sales Manager – Government & Defence to drive strategic sales within UK government and defence markets. This role focuses on promoting a holistic communications portfolio—including maritime NAVCOM systems, airtime solutions, and smart services—across a range of government and defence-related clients.You will be instrumental in identifying new programme opportunities, managing key accounts, and supporting future-proofed communications infrastructure in secure and mission-critical environments.Client Industry Sector:Secure Communications, Defence, Government, Maritime NAVCOMLocation:UK-based | Minimum 2 days/week office presence (Redhill, Surrey)Extensive UK and international travel required (up to 2 weeks at a time)Flexibility beyond standard office hours is expectedKey Responsibilities:Develop new business and manage existing relationships across the UK Gov/Def customer basePromote a full range of products, including hardware, airtime, and smart service plansCollaborate closely with Business Development and Technical Services teamsLiaise with internal service delivery to ensure high-quality fulfilmentBuild deep relationships across all levels of nominated customersHandle assigned sales enquiries and proposalsDraft account plans, quotations, forecasts, and customer contractsMaintain CRM and sales records dynamicallyCommunicate customer feedback to influence product and service developmentRepresent the company at exhibitions, industry seminars, and client meetingsCandidate Profile:Essential Requirements:Eligibility to obtain and retain UK SC Security ClearanceMinimum 3 years of sales team management experienceStrong commercial awareness and customer-first mindsetDeep experience in selling maritime NAVCOM solutionsExcellent interpersonal skills and confidence in engaging engineers and C-level decision-makersSelf-driven, organised, and comfortable managing multiple prioritiesProficient in Microsoft 365 and CRM toolsWillingness to travel frequently and operate outside standard office hoursAble to work independently and collaboratively in a cross-functional environmentWhat We Offer:Dynamic and fast-paced environment with global reachAutonomy to develop key accounts and win strategic businessInfluence over future technology and service direction through client engagementCompetitive salary and commission structureTrusted leadership and open communication cultureApplication Process:Please submit your resume and a cover letter detailing your experience and qualifications.Equal Opportunity Employer: We are committed to creating a diverse environment and are proud to be an equal-opportunity employer.
