Are you looking for a long-term role in a supportive SEN environment in East London?KPi Education is working in partnership with a specialist school in Tower Hamlets to recruit a skilled and committed SEN Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA).The Role – SEN HLTAAs a SEN HLTA, you will play a vital role in supporting teaching, learning, and inclusion by: Delivering pre-planned lessons for pupils with SEN in the absence of the teacherSupporting pupils with EHCPs, including Autism (ASC), ADHD, SEMH, and learning difficultiesLeading small-group interventions and targeted SEN support sessionsAssisting with planning, differentiation, and assessmentSupporting behaviour management using positive and inclusive strategiesWorking closely with class teachers, SENCOs, and therapistsContributing to a calm, structured, and supportive learning environment The School A specialist SEN provision based in Tower Hamlets, East LondonStrong focus on inclusion, wellbeing, and individual progressSupportive leadership team and collaborative staff cultureClear behaviour policies and access to ongoing training Person SpecificationTo be considered, you should have: HLTA status or equivalent experience in an SEN settingStrong experience supporting pupils with special educational needsConfidence delivering lessons and managing small groups independentlyExcellent communication and teamwork skillsExperience working with EHCPs and SEN strategiesA calm, patient, and professional approach Desirable: Experience working with Autism, SEMH, or complex needsAdditional SEN or behaviour support training Why Work with KPi Education?
