HGV Technician- 3 Years Experience Required - Preston - Permanent Role Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday, 0800-1700 Salary: £45,000 (OTE) Plus Benefits **£2500 BONUS UPON COMPLETION OF 6 MONTH PROBATION PERIOD** Silver Arrow require a HGV Technician to join our automotive client based in Preston. This is a full time permanent role. You will need to hold a City & Guilds Level 3 qualification (or equivalent) and have workshop experience. Your Role: Interpret instructions from the job card/repair order and comply with repair instructions Attend training and keep abreast of the latest technical information Accurately report and record work done and tests carried out, including immediately reporting any further work required or vehicle faults Maintain allocated work areas in a clean and tidy condition Provide information, maintain records and carry out all duties in an accurate, efficient and timely manner. You will have work experience within a workshop/dealership Must have City and Guilds Level 3 qualification in HGV Mechanics (or equivalent) and experience in a related sector, (trucks, agricultural for example). Would consider post apprenticeship experience of at least 3-4 years in a fast paced workshop environment.
