Exciting Opportunity for Registered an orthopaedic Scrub Nurse (Band 5) - In the Surrey AreaMedicsPro are seeking experienced orthopaedic Scrub Nurses - Band 5 with recent NHS experience, who are looking for flexible extra shifts or full-time agency work within the Surrey Area. This opportunity is to cover Monday - Saturday, day shifts, during the hours of 8am-8pm. Various Working Shifts Available.Key Responsibilities *Prepare instruments and set up surgical equipment to ensure a sterile and efficient environment.*Assist in positioning, preparing, and draping patients according to surgical procedures.*Support the surgical team by scrubbing in for surgery and anticipating the surgeon's needs for equipment and instruments.*Label and document medications and other items used in the operating room accurately.*Monitor and record the patient's respiratory and cardiovascular signs throughout the procedure.*Communicate effectively with surgeons and the surgical team to ensure smooth and successful operations.*Consider potential complications and develop a plan of action for any necessary lifesaving measures.*Maintain strict hygiene standards, including washing hands and arms with surgical soap before and after procedures.
