HGV Class 2 (LGV C) Drivers - Gateshead Client Description: The Best Connection are currently seeking to recruit experienced HGV Class 2 (LGV C) drivers to work with our client based in Gateshead. Our client specialises in the delivery of ambient, chilled, and frozen food and drink products across the North East. Responsibilities: Multi-drop Class 2 driving, delivering to high-security establishments Use of tail-lift and wheeling cages to the rear of the vehicle Previous experience essential, as the role requires fast, efficient, and accurate deliveries on scheduled routes This is a customer-facing role, so a friendly and professional attitude is essential - you will be representing both our client and The Best Connection Experience / Education Requirements: Valid and in-date Cat C driving licence, CPC card, and Digital Tachograph card Minimum 2 years Class 2 driving experience required Smart appearance Excellent written and verbal communication skills Positive attitude towards customer service Hours of Work: Monday to Friday 07:00am start time Pay Rates (PAYE): £17.90 per hour basic rate for first 45 hours per week Minimum Assignment Length: 4 weeks Benefits of Working with The Best Connection: Excellent pay rates 24/7 consultant support Pension contributions Online payslips Holiday accrual Personal accident insurance Ongoing assignments Access to 'Perks at Work' temporary worker benefit scheme Suitable candidates will be invited to register online.
