This role is ideal for a Part Qualified/Assistant Accountant to gain fantastic experience and exposure to a dynamic finance environment.Key ResponsibilitiesReporting to the Financial Controller you will be part of a busy Finance team, This role is ideal for a Part Qualified/ Assistant Accountant to gain fantastic experience and exposure to a busy finance environment.Prepare monthly management accounts and financial reports as required.Maintain the purchase ledger, sales ledger, and general ledger, ensuring all balance sheet accounts are reconciled at month-end.Prepare and execute the month-end payment run.Monitor and ensure timely collection of outstanding debts.Conduct monthly stock reconciliations and related work.Prepare and post month-end journals, including accruals and prepayments.Review and manage month-end overheads.Prepare VAT returns for both the UK and Ireland.Assist in the preparation of reports for the year-end audit.Your Skills and BackgroundPart-qualified (ACCA, CIMA, or IATI or equivalent)Advanced Excel skills to ensure analysis of dataFor further information on this opportunity or if you are considering the next step in your career, get in touch with Daryl Hunter at HireIQ in complete confidence.Skills:Management Accounts General Ledger Financial AnalysisBenefits:Paid Holidays Performance Bonus On-Site Parking
