Job DescriptionWe have a great opportunity for a Transport Support Operator to join our Telford Transport team on a full time permanent basis! This position is responsible for debriefing drivers on a daily basis alongside providing general administration support to the Transport team. Salary: £27,618 per annum.Working hours: 4 on 4 off, 6pm-6am. Key Duties of a Transport Support Operator:Correctly debriefing drivers.Checking all timesheets for correct completion and ensuring all PODs are returned completed correctly.Scanning and storing PODs using Culina’s document management system.Preparing drivers’ wallets and issuing delivery notes in drop sequence plus any other relevant delivery information.Printing all despatch notes and replenishing despatch paper as required.Answering the telephone and assisting with any enquiries.Downloading drivers’ cards / tachographs.Ensuring all estimated time of arrivals (ETAs) are communicated to Customer Services.Consistently updating all spreadsheets including, but not limited to; change-overs, run summaries and trailer check sheets.Departing loads using Transport Management System (TMS).Ensuring all uplifts are despatched in correct loads.
