Driver Hire Dundee is recruiting a Waste Operative to join our customer's busy recycling centre in Arbroath. This is an ongoing role with consistent weekly shifts and a great opportunity to work in a supportive, community-focused environment. The Role As a Waste Operative, you'll be the friendly face greeting members of the public as they arrive at the recycling centre. Your responsibilities include: Directing the public to the correct recycling bays Providing guidance on where items should be disposed of Keeping the site tidy and safe Offering excellent customer service at all times You'll be working 5 shifts per week, following a two-week rotating pattern: Week 1: Mon, Tue, Wed, Sat, Sun Week 2: Mon to Fri What We're Looking For Reliable, friendly, and confident communicating with the public Able to work outdoors in all weather conditions Happy to be on your feet and active throughout the shift Previous waste/recycling or outdoor work experience is helpful but not essential What You'll Get Ongoing, stable work Weekly pay Support from Driver Hire Dundee throughout your assignment Overtime available paid at £20.85 per hour If you're looking for a steady role where you can make a difference in your local community, we'd love to hear from you.
