Our international client is looking for an Azure Infrastructure Architect to join their team for a freelance B2B contract that is 6 months with a high chance of extension. This position is hybrid, with 2 days a week on site in London and 3 days remote. ACTIVE SECURITY CLEARANCE IS REQUIRED FOR THIS ROLE Project details Position: Azure Infrastructure Architect Contract type: Inside IR35 Contract Length: 6 Month Contract Location: Hybrid in London (2 days on-site and 3 days remote) Languages: English Skills and responsibilities Expertise in on-premises and public cloud infrastructure assessments and migrations using Azure Migrate for large, complex environments Lead Azure cloud solutioning activities, including stakeholder management, Azure strategy alignment, and end-to-end migration planning Design and implement Azure Landing Zones, with a strong understanding of customer infrastructure landscapes and governance models Define Azure target architectures, including HLD/LLD diagrams, Bill of Materials (BoM), pricing, and licensing considerations with a value-for-money focus Hands-on experience migrating workloads to Azure and troubleshooting Azure Windows environments (compute, networking, clusters, I/O, memory) Experience across multiple industry domains (banking, healthcare, insurance) Terraform scripting, execution, and troubleshooting ACTIVE SECURITY CLEARANCE IS REQUIRED FOR THIS ROLE If this is something you are interested in, please send me an up-to-date CV and we can discuss the role in more detail.
