About the Role: An excellent part-time opportunity for someone looking to support one of partner nurseries. As a Nursery Assistant you will help deliver play-based activities, support routines, work alongside our key-workers and ensure children's day-to-day care and learning are well-managed. Ideal for someone who enjoys working with young children and flexible hours. About our Nursery:The nurseires is a friendly, community-oriented nursery in Daventry, offering flexible working hours (mornings/afternoons) and a supportive working environment. Key Responsibilities: Assist practitioners in delivering stimulating activities and supporting children's learning and development. Support children's routines: meals, naps, play, hygiene, and transitions. Help maintain a safe, clean and organised environment for children and staff. Communicate with key workers and parents/carers about children's wellbeing and daily experience. Prerequisites: Level 2 in Early Years/Childcare or equivalent experience (minimum). A cheerful, reliable and proactive approach. Good interpersonal skills, able to work as part of a team. Clear understanding of confidentiality, safeguarding and safe working practices. All candidates who register with Simply Education are required to provide references for the previous 2 years of work, as well as complete an enhanced DBS check.
