We are seeking a compassionate, experienced, and highly motivated Consultant Community Paediatrician to join a multidisciplinary child health service in the United Kingdom. The successful candidate will provide specialist care to children and young people with developmental, neurodisability, safeguarding, and complex health needs, working closely with families, education services, and social care partners.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide consultant-level assessment and management of children with developmental delay, neurodevelopmental disorders, and complex medical needsDeliver community-based paediatric services, including clinics, multidisciplinary assessments, and care planningContribute to safeguarding and child protection services, including medical assessments and case conferencesWork collaboratively with education, social care, mental health, and allied health professionalsParticipate in multidisciplinary team (MDT) meetings and inter-agency reviewsSupport service development, audit, quality improvement, and clinical governance activitiesSupervise, mentor, and teach junior doctors, trainees, and allied healthcare professionalsParticipate in on-call or advisory rotas as required.RequirementsMinimum 3–5 years of experience at consultant or senior specialist level in Community Paediatrics or related paediatric specialtyMedical degree with completed specialist training in PaediatricsGMC registration (preferred) — candidates eligible for or in the process of GMC registration will also be consideredStrong experience in neurodevelopmental paediatrics, safeguarding, and community child healthGood understanding of UK child protection frameworks, NICE guidance, and evidence-based practiceExcellent communication, leadership, and multidisciplinary collaboration skillsCommitment to safeguarding, continuous professional development, and family-centred care.Willing to relocate in the United Kingdom.To view other vacancies we have, please check our website (www.blackpearlconsult.com) and follow us on our social media accounts - LinkedIn / Facebook / Twitter / Instagram Disclaimer: Black Pearl will never ask for money or any form to charge our candidates just to process or consider their application for any of our available vacancies.
