SharePoint Infrastructure Specialist – GDPR ProjectContract: 3 months Location: Central London (near Aldgate Station) Start: Immediate / ASAPWe’re seeking an experienced SharePoint Specialist to provide short-term technical delivery support for a critical GDPR compliance project. This role will support regulatory obligations relating to the management of unstructured data within document shares.This is a hands-on contract role, ideal for a SharePoint SME with strong experience in regulated environments such as banking, insurance, legal, or financial services.Key Responsibilities Provide technical delivery support for the GDPR project, focused on SharePoint OnlineLead and support file migrations to SharePoint Cloud, including complex permissionsConfigure and administer SharePoint infrastructure, including access, settings, storage, migration, archiving, and maintenanceSupport phased implementations across multiple business unitsDesign and set up SharePoint sites, including tree sizing, site structuring, and governanceDefine and support an effective support and operating modelTroubleshoot SharePoint-related issues and provide expert guidance Essential Skills & Experience Proven hands-on experience managing SharePoint Online / M365 environmentsStrong experience with file migrations to SharePoint, including permissions managementSolid knowledge of Active Directory (AD) groups and Entra ID group setup and administrationExperience delivering SharePoint solutions across multiple business unitsExpertise in data retention and compliance tooling for PII/GDPR, such as:High level of SharePoint SME knowledge, including UX, site configuration, and user adoption Microsoft PurviewMicrosoft PrivaM365 Compliance toolsAwareness of additional tools supporting data governance use cases Desirable Experience Background in banking, insurance, legal, or financial servicesExperience working on GDPR or regulatory compliance programmesStrong stakeholder communication skills Apply now to speak with VIQU IT in confidence.
