We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic EYFS Teaching Assistant to join our vibrant early years team. This is an exciting opportunity to support young learners in a nurturing and stimulating environment, helping them develop the foundations for lifelong learning.EYFS Teaching AssistantLocation: Burnley Salary: £13.75 - £14.50 per hour Contract: Full-time Start Date: As soon as possibleKey Responsibilities Assist the class teacher in delivering engaging and age-appropriate activities.Support children’s learning and development in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.Provide one-to-one and small group support where needed.Help create a safe, inclusive, and positive learning environment.Observe and record children’s progress, contributing to assessments.Promote good behaviour and social skills through positive reinforcement. What We’re Looking For Experience working with children in an early years setting (school or nursery).A relevant qualification (e.g., Level 2 or Level 3 in Childcare/Early Years) is desirable.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.A caring, patient, and proactive approach.Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
