Connect Appointments has a new opportunity for an experienced Manufacturing Shift Manager to undertake work with our Motherwell-based client on a permanent basis. Salary: £36,253 per annum, up to £52,929 per annum (includes shift allowance) Schedule: 2 days on, 2 nights on, 4 days off Working out of their established facility, this is your chance to get started with one of the area's best-known companies! Working as a Manufacturing Shift Manager your duties will include, but not be limited to, leading the manufacturing teams to achieve a high rate of success and accuracy. You will also be responsible for: Ensuring daily targets are being achieved Coaching and developing staff to improve their skills Providing support for training, disciplinary procedures and performance management Ensuring compliance with relevant H&S legislation, as well as company standard procedures Identifying and rectifying any quality discrepancies To be successful within this Manufacturing Shift Manager position, you will have a HNC/HND or equivalent experience in manufacturing, engineering or similar role. Other skills and traits that are essential include: Excellent communication skills IOSH Managing Safely Able to understand both written and verbal instructions The ideal candidate may also have a NEBOSH certificate and lean manufacturing training, however these are not essential.
