Night Shift Counterbalance FLT Driver Pay Rate: £14 per hour Hours: Night shifts - 11:00 PM / Midnight starts (Approx. 5-6 hours worked, but paid for 8 hours!) Location: New Smithfield Wholesale Market, M11 2WJ Contract: Temp-to-Perm Opportunity About the Role We're looking for a Night Shift Counterbalance FLT Driver to join a fast-paced operation at New Smithfield Market. You'll be working with pallets of fresh fish in a mixed role that combines forklift driving with general warehouse duties. Flexibility and attention to detail are key! What You'll Be Doing Safely operating a Counterbalance Forklift Truck Loading and unloading pallets of fish Manual handling as part of a varied warehouse role Counting stock and checking pallet quantities Completing basic paperwork and documentation Keeping your work area clean and safe What We're Looking For A valid Counterbalance FLT licence Previous experience in a warehouse or cold/fresh produce environment (preferred) Comfortable working night shifts and outdoors Reliable, punctual, and a strong team player Good attention to detail for counting and paperwork What's On Offer £14 per hour Paid for 8 hours even if you work 5-6 hours Temp-to-perm opportunity for the right candidate Ready to take the next step?
