A Machinist (Grade 1) at Thompson Aero Seating is a skilled operator with an extensive knowledge of CNC machining processes and programming. They will be integral for shop floor problem solving and improvements while also conducting program prove outs in line with the Final Article Inspection (FAI) process. A keen eye for detail and great mechanical aptitude are essential.Responsible for operating a number of CNC Machines to their maximum ability with a focus on creativity, ensuring that all products are produced to the required specifications with a focus on world class quality standards, ensuring that targets are consistently met and exceeded. This role is continental night shift (19:30-07:30) in the Machine Shop. Shift rota will be dicsussed at interview stage.
