They offer a fresh perspective and opportunity for the right Architect to make a rewarding transition from tradition practice, with engaging workload and an experienced team to join.Your new role Due to a robust pipeline of commercial and residential redevelopment projects, our client is seeking a Senior Architect to join their expanding Belfast team. This role offers the chance to work within a growing in-house architecture and design function, contributing to high-value schemes across multiple sectors. You will help shape project delivery from concept design through all RIBA/RIAI stages, playing a key role in a collaborative and entrepreneurial environment where technical acumen and design leadership are highly valued.As part of the architecture and design team, you will develop concept proposals, produce high-quality design and technical information, and coordinate with consultants, contractors and internal project managers across complex refurbishment, adaptive-reuse and new-build projects. You will prepare planning submissions, building control documentation, specifications and working drawings, ensuring compliance with NI, ROI and English Building Regulations. You will support the delivery of projects on site, resolving design queries and contributing to the smooth progression of construction phases.What you'll need to succeed You will be an experienced Architect with at least three years post-qualification experience (RIBA, RIAI or ARB registered). You will bring strong design capability alongside excellent technical knowledge, particularly in commercial, residential and mixed-use projects. You must be comfortable producing and coordinating detailed working drawings, preparing statutory applications, and liaising with contractors and consultants. A sharp eye for detail, strong communication skills and the ability to take ownership of project stages are essential.
