Teaching AssistantWhitby£90-£110 per dayAbout the roleConnex Education is recruiting for Teaching Assistants to work on a flexible agency basis across a range of primary schools in the Whitby area.About the opportunitiesWe work with a variety of primary schools that cater for children in their early years, providing stimulating learning environments. As a Teaching Assistant, you will be supporting children in Nursery and Reception classes and also within KS1 & KS2, helping them develop key skills through play-based learning, structured activities and KS1 & 2 curriculum content.All schools within our network are committed to providing young learners with a nurturing and engaging experience. Person Specification Essential: Experience working with School aged children and/or relevant TA/ Childcare qualificationsKnowledge of EYFS / KS1 or KS2 frameworksExcellent communication and interpersonal skills.Must hold a DBS on update service or willing to apply for one.Patience, empathy, and the ability to engage young children in learning.Flexibility and willingness to adapt to different school settings.Good organization and multitasking abilities.
