SEN PE Teacher – Secondary Schools (Havant) Location: Havant, Hampshire Position: Full-Time Salary: £32,916 – £51,048 per annum (paid to scale) Start Date: ASAP Agency: Teaching PersonnelTeaching Personnel are working closely with secondary schools in the Havant area to recruit a dedicated and enthusiastic SEN PE Teacher for a full-time position, starting as soon as possible.The Role: Deliver engaging and inclusive Physical Education lessons to secondary-aged pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN) Adapt teaching approaches to meet a range of additional needs, ensuring all pupils can access and enjoy PE Support pupils’ physical development, confidence, teamwork, and wellbeing Work collaboratively with SEN staff, teaching assistants, and wider school teams Maintain a safe, supportive, and structured learning environment The Ideal Candidate Will Have: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent Experience teaching PE at secondary level (SEN experience desirable but not essential) A strong understanding of inclusive teaching strategies Excellent behaviour management and communication skills A genuine passion for supporting pupils with additional needs Safeguarding Requirements: An Enhanced Child Only DBS registered on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one through Teaching Personnel What Teaching Personnel Offer: Competitive pay, paid to scale (£32,916 – £51,048) Ongoing professional development and SEN-focused support Dedicated consultant support throughout your placement Opportunity to make a meaningful impact in local secondary schools If you are a motivated PE Teacher looking to make a difference in SEN education and are available to start ASAP, we would love to hear from you.Apply today through Teaching Personnel.All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role.
