Driver Hire and dh Recruitment (Torbay) are recruiting Class 2 (Category C) HGV drivers for permanent positions with a long-established company based in Newton Abbot. This is a night shift role within a 24-hour operation, offering a reliable two-week rotating shift pattern and consistent hours. Previous experience in a quarry or similar environment is beneficial but not essential, as full training will be provided. Pay and Shift Pattern £18.49 per hour PAYE Advanced Night shifts from 6pm to 6am Average of 42 hours per two-week cycle Week 1: Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday Week 2: Wednesday and Thursday Paid weekly every Friday The Role This is a permanent Class 2 driving role working as part of a professional team in a busy operational environment. Responsibilities include: Safe operation of Class 2 vehicles Adhering to site rules and operating procedures Working within a 24-hour operation Maintaining a reliable and safety-focused approach to night work Experience within a quarry or similar setting is advantageous but not required, as training will be provided.
