Role: Facilities Supervisor (Desk-Based) Location: HMP Coldingley, Shaftesbury Rd, Bisley, Woking, GU24 9EX Pay Rate: £18.16 per hour Employment Type: Temporary, 6 months Typical Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:00 - 17:00 As a Facilities Supervisor, you will manage workflow processes and supervise trade and facilities staff to deliver planned and reactive maintenance services in line with site requirements. Working alongside the prison service, you will coordinate maintenance activities, staff allocation, and compliance requirements across the site. Duties of a Facilities Supervisor Include (but are not limited to): Allocating and coordinating daily work activities Managing planned and reactive maintenance schedules Monitoring compliance with Health & Safety and site procedures Maintaining compliance documentation and CAFM updates Supervising prisoners and maintaining security within work areas Managing tool control and secure storage Conducting staff appraisals and providing performance feedback The Successful Facilities Supervisor Should Possess the Following: Essential: Supervisory experience within facilities management or a similar environment Experience working in a compliance-led or regulated setting Desirable: Knowledge of relevant Health & Safety requirements Facilities or project management qualifications Up-to-date First Aid at Work qualification Full UK Driving Licence Due to the nature of the environment, standard Security Vetting will be required.
