Qualified Nursery Practitioner Location: Royston, Cambridgeshire Sector: Early Years Education We are currently seeking a Qualified and Experienced Nursery Practitioner to join a welcoming and supportive nursery setting in Cambridge. This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate early years professional committed to supporting children's learning and development in a safe and nurturing environment. The Role As a Nursery Practitioner, you will: Provide high-quality care and education in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate activities Support children's social, emotional, and physical development Observe, assess, and record children's progress Build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues Ensure a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment Qualifications & Experience Required A relevant Early Years qualification (Level 2 or Level 3 or above - e.g. CACHE, NVQ, or equivalent) Previous experience working in a nursery or early years setting Sound knowledge of the EYFS framework Strong communication and teamwork skills A caring, patient, and professional approach Ability to work effectively as part of a team Safeguarding & Compliance An Enhanced DBS check (registered on the Update Service or willingness to apply) is essential Right to work in the UK Safeguarding Statement We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
